Adding media to itunes

So I have found 2 different ways to add media to itunes.
the first through itunes itself

1. Insert a CDand add the CD to your library
2. Edits to Track Names   by using the the "Get Info" window.  Enter all of the track information if any of the fields are blank.

3. Submit CD Track Names by selecting Advanced, Submit CD Track Names. iTunes will connect to the Gracenote site, & check the available categories, and submit your information. The Gracenote staff will check your submission for accuracy and add it to the database usually within a day or two.
