I am reading about facebook & Google Wave

Yes as PCWorld reports Google Wave is out of testing and anyone can sign up and use it.  Frustrating for students in my district however is that Wave does not run in Internet Explorer =( You may download a plug in player but because of network settings this can take up to an hour and students are blocked from downloading.  Hopefully something will change so students may use this fantastic collaborative tool.  Some use Wave already outside of school however and the feedback has been great.
PCWorld also posts about 3rd party apps that help restore Facebook privacy.  I suggest you watch this video as well that discusses Facebooks use of private information.  Thanks to albesatt for posting it.
